Amalgamation

In Amalgamation, I share the profound impact that different pieces of media have had on my life and who I am as a person. Each of these pieces represents different periods of my life, and they are a part of my story. It was important to me that I limited the costumes, props, and filming locations to what I reasonably had access to in my personal life, to show the genuine traces these pieces of media have left in my life. My images are intentionally visually incohesive, as I shot and edited each photo to represent the piece of media it is referencing. I invite my viewers to reflect on what pieces of media have had an impact on their own lives and who they are as people.
